Electrolux Professional EM Series

Powerful and flexible with the Electrolux Professional EM-Series, chefs and kitchen designers alike have the flexibility to create the cooking line-up of their dreams. The EM-Series offers all the traditional cooking elements chefs desire in a kitchen, along with new technologies such as induction and solid "French" tops. The purpose of introducing a new range series into the Electrolux Professional portfolio was to offer performance cooking in increments of 12", 24", 36" and 48" units while saving energy at the same time.

"The new EM-Series will offer high efficiency Flower Flame burners, Induction hobs, 1" thick Griddles and Charbroilers that minimize flare ups. The new Electrolux Professional EM-Series will include some of the following: 2, 4, 6, 8 Gas Burner Tops The gas burner tops offer individually controlled high efficiency 32,500 BTU (9.5kW) Flower Flames. They are available with or without thermocouples to ensure flame failure safety. Gas burner tops are suitable for natural or propane gas.

24" and 36" Gas Burner Ranges with Oven Bases The gas burner ranges have an optional oven base. This static oven operates at 34,000 BTU/hr (10kW) with a unique baffle system above the burner that distributes heat evenly throughout the cavity.

12", 24", 36" and 48" Smooth and Ribbed Gas Griddles The smooth and ribbed gas griddles can be controlled individually, operatine at 29,000 BTU (8.5kW). Suitable for natural gas or propane gas, the thick 1" mild steel griddle plate maintains the selected temperatures and assurse quick recovery. There is a 3.2" wide drain channel running the full length of the cooking surface, as well as a large grease drain hole with a diameter of 2.4".

12", 24", 36" and 48" Gas Charbroilers The gas charbroilers are individually controlled by highly efficient 33,000 BTU (9.5 kW) burners. Suitable for natural gas or propane gas, the charbroilers are equipped with heavy duty, double-sided, removable cast iron radiant grates. Plus, the 6" radiant sections may be easily removed and safely cleaned. One key feature of the gas charbroiler is a special system that utilizes stainless steel deflective shields below the radiants in order to prevent the burners from clogging, minimize flare ups and provide even heat distribution.

36", 48", 72" and 84" Refrigerated Bases With just the flip of a switch, the chef can choose either a refrigerated or freezer base to complete his or her EM-Series Restaurant Range lines, as each unit has a built-in compressor flexible for either refrigeration or freezing. With temperatures ranging from -8°F to +46°F, these bases can be installed below any cooking top. The digital thermostat and display are protected by a stainless steel panel. The base has a perforated top surface that provides the necessary ventilation to allow for a flush connection between the base and the Electrolux top unit, eliminating the need for the top unit to be on legs.
